I've listed my favorite movies twice on this blog, but now I've seen (re-seen, as if with new eyes) two that I don't hesitate to call masterpieces (I've never said that about a film before): Pasolini's MEDEA ( and his ARABIAN NIGHTS (  He's the Dostoyevsky of cinema, passionate to the point of hysteria but without the Christian hypocrisy, and he knows how to laugh.  The YouTube videos are choppy and scrambled but they're worth it.
